Death in shambles

A retired police deputy inspector general named Lionel Carmichael is looking forward to a life of peace and solitude in the hill town of Debrakot, with a variety of odd neighbours to keep him company on occasion. When SHO Thapliyal, a former coworker, asks him to assist in a double murder investigation, his intentions are upended. The crime was committed at the eerie Shambala Villa, also called "Shambles" by the locals because of its run-down appearance. Reuben Sabharwal, a self-described god-man who dabbles in the esoteric and occult, and an unidentified woman who was discovered hanging by a rope next to Reuben's body are the victims of the heinous crimes.

Lionel starts his quest for the truth while slogging through the monsoon rains of Debrakot, only to find himself getting more and more caught up in a web of lies. Lionel persists in seeking the truth despite numerous strong forces trying to stop him, and eventually the tranquil little hill station divulges its dark truths.

The language employed is still understated, straightforward, and incredibly captivating. The language enhances the presentation aspect by facilitating the plot's easy flow. The book's numerous unexpected developments and well-distributed plot twists were a feature I found appealing. Although I did not enjoy the ending, the book undoubtedly left an impression. Overall , it's a fast paced read and engaging one.

So, anyone looking for a nice and interesting read should pick up a copy of this book.

The N.G code

The Chief Minster of the state has been assassinated by NATLE GOUSE and the state police started the investigation to find the Killer. During the investigation they found A gold plated CROSS and A RED HANDKERCHIEF. Unfortunately they couldn't find the Killer so the case had transferred to CBI.

The CBI submits the closure report after conducting a significant amount of investigation because there is insufficient evidence and no obvious motivation for the assassination. The Magistrate orders a further investigation into the matter and rejects the report, demanding a successful conclusion. As a special investigation officer, NIRVAN GUHA, a rookie cop, is tasked with looking into the matter.

Nine

Book: Nine

@thewriteorder

🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nine is about the collection of 9 thriller stories and 9 optimistic songs. This was quite different from all other books which fascinated to choose this one❤️. The stories were well written and i found it was slow paced and some were fast paced, moreover it was predictable.

I loved the way author has tried different way of writing this book😍🍎. The language is lucid and narration was descriptive. It would be easy for the beginners. To specify, there is QR code for the songs so the readers can read and listen the songs which i found interesting. The stories were okay and it didn't resonate or fascinated me. Some stories were interesting to mention few

Jab the world , party from home , where's the fun and dreaming out loud.

Overall it was a good read. Recommended to thriller readers.
